Crystal Palace vs Liverpool
Saturday’s Premier League action kicks off at Selhurst Park, when Crystal Palace play host to Liverpool.
The Reds head into the tie in fine form, and will no doubt be filled with confidence after seeing off Tottenham, who had been sitting top of the table, earlier in the week.
This result saw Jurgen Klopp’s men claim table-topping status of their own, and put some much-needed daylight between themselves and the chasing pack ahead of the busy festive period.
Crystal Palace, though, have also been in decent form of late, and could prove a tough nut to crack.
Thiago pictured in training
Ahead of Saturday’s clash, meanwhile, Liverpool have been handed a major boost on the personnel front.
Thiago Alcantara was arguably the English champions’ most high-profile signing of the summer.
However, the Spaniard has since managed just two appearances, with Covid-19, and more recently an injury, having confined Thiago to the sidelines for lengthy periods.
On Thursday evening, though, the Merseysiders took to their official Twitter account, to post images of the former Bayern Munich star in training:

Thiago himself has also taken to social media to share images of himself working hard:

The news regarding Thiago comes on the same day that Liverpool have also been handed a personnel boost at the back.
